SpeedCalcs FAQ — Everything You Need to Know

General Questions

Are the calculators really free?

Yes every calculator on SpeedCalcs is completely free to use. No account, no sign-up, no paywall. Just open the tool, enter your numbers and get your answer instantly. The site is funded by ads which is how we keep everything free for users.

Why does the site show ads?

Ads are how SpeedCalcs stays free. The ad revenue covers hosting, maintenance and the ongoing work required to build and update 300+ tools. We know ads add clutter and we appreciate your patience without them the tools would either cost money or not exist.

How many calculators does SpeedCalcs have?

Over 300 and growing. The goal is 500 tools. The library currently covers finance, fitness, food, cooking, auto, crafts, pets, travel, tech, hobbies and more. You can browse the full collection at speedcalcs.com/p/tools.html.

Who is behind SpeedCalcs?

SpeedCalcs was built by Alberto Miller an entrepreneur who got tired of guessing and started turning hard won business lessons into free tools. It's a small, focused operation with one goal: make smart number crunching accessible to anyone building something.

Do I need to create an account to use the tools?

No. Every tool is open access. Just visit the page, run your calculation and go.

Accuracy & Results

How accurate are the results?

The calculators are built to handle the math correctly for standard use cases. They're designed to give you a fast, reliable estimate based on the inputs you provide.

That said results should be treated as a guide rather than a substitute for professional financial, medical or legal advice when high  stakes decisions are involved.

Can I trust the calculator results for business decisions?

The tools are a great starting point for thinking through numbers — pricing, ROI, costs, logistics and so on.

For decisions involving significant money or legal consequences we recommend using the results as a first pass and verifying with a qualified professional.

What if I find a bug or incorrect result?

Use the bug report link in the site header to flag it. Alberto reviews reports and pushes fixes directly.

Embedding Calculators on Your Website

Can I embed a SpeedCalcs calculator on my own website?

Yes. Every calculator on SpeedCalcs includes a free embed code at the bottom of the tool's page. Copy it and paste it into any HTML block on your site. No coding knowledge required.

Is embedding the calculators free?

The free embed option is available at no cost. However free embeds include a small non-intrusive ad unit, a contextual Amazon affiliate link where relevant, a nofollow credit link back to SpeedCalcs and a tab suggesting related tools. These elements are what make the free option sustainable.

What platforms does the embed code work on?

The embed code is compatible with Blogger, WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, Weebly, Shopify and any site that accepts custom HTML.

Can I remove the ads, affiliate links and SpeedCalcs branding from the embed?

Yes through the paid options. You can rent a clean, white label version of any calculator starting at $15.99/month or have a fully custom calculator built from scratch starting at $60 as a one time purchase. Both options remove third party elements entirely.

Will a free embedded calculator affect my SEO?

The credit link back to SpeedCalcs is tagged nofollow, so it has no impact on your site's SEO.

Renting a Calculator

What does it mean to "rent" a calculator?

Renting gives you an embed code for a clean, ad free, branded version of any calculator from the SpeedCalcs library.

It's hosted and maintained by SpeedCalcs you just paste the code. No third party ads, no affiliate links, no SpeedCalcs branding visible to your visitors.

How much does it cost to rent a calculator?

Plans start at $15.99/month for one calculator, $39.99/month for three and $69.99/month for five. You can mix and match from any category in the 300+ tool library.

Can I switch which calculator I'm renting?

Yes at any time. Email albertomiller@speedcalcs.com with your requested swap and the embed code will be updated.

What happens if I cancel my rental subscription?

The embed code stops working at the end of your billing period and the calculator will no longer display on your site.

Do I own the calculator if I rent it?

No. Rental plans give you the right to embed the tool while your subscription is active. If you want to own the code outright with no recurring fees, the custom build service is the right choice.

Custom Calculator Development

Can SpeedCalcs build a custom calculator specifically for my website?

Yes. Alberto builds custom calculators for other sites starting at $60. Every build uses clean JavaScript, fully responsive design and is matched to your brand.

What types of custom calculators are available?

ROI and profit calculators, pricing and cost estimators, forecasting tools and niche specific calculators built around whatever math your audience needs. If you can describe the logic it can be built.

What are the custom build packages and prices?

There are three tiers. The Starter ($60) is a clean, functional single calculator with basic styling ideal for bloggers or first-time buyers.

The Standard ($150, most popular) is a fully custom branded calculator matched to your exact colors, fonts and design, with an instruction doc included.

The Premium ($400) covers up to four advanced calculators with complex logic, full site integration and lifetime support.

How long does the process take?

Every project starts with a short consultation to clarify the goal and the math behind it then moves into prototyping, testing and revisions.

Turnaround varies by complexity but Standard builds are typically fast. Reach out through the contact form for a timeline estimate.

Do I own the calculator after a custom build?

Yes. Custom builds are yours to keep with no recurring fees. Premium clients also receive lifetime support. All other packages include 30 days of post-delivery revisions.

I'm not technical can I still order a custom calculator?

Absolutely. The Standard package includes a complete instruction document so embedding the calculator is effortless even if you've never touched code.
