Terms of Service

Welcome to SpeedCalcs (speedcalcs.com). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SpeedCalcs including all free calculator tools, blog content, paid services, rental plans, affiliate programs and embeddable calculators offered on the website ("Services").

By accessing or using SpeedCalcs in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or any of its services.

SpeedCalcs is operated by Alberto Miller ("we", "us", "our"). You may contact us at albertomiller@speedcalcs.com.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", "your") and SpeedCalcs. Your continued use of the website after any modifications to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

SpeedCalcs provides the following services:

•       Free online calculator tools: 300+ free calculators across finance, fitness, food, travel, auto, tech, pets, crafts and more.

•       Blog content: educational articles, guides and niche specific reference content.

•       Custom calculator development: bespoke calculator builds for third-party websites, offered at three package tiers.

•       Calculator rental/licensing: monthly subscription access to embed SpeedCalcs tools on external websites.

•       Free embeddable calculators: a library of tools that can be embedded on third-party sites under specific conditions.

•       Affiliate program: a referral program offering commissions for qualifying sales referrals.

 

3.1 No Warranty Disclaimer

All free calculator tools on SpeedCalcs are provided "as is" and "as available" for informational and general reference purposes only. Results generated by any calculator on this website are not a substitute for professional financial, medical, legal or technical advice.

3.2 Accuracy Limitation

While we make every effort to ensure our calculators are accurate, SpeedCalcs does not guarantee that any result is error free, complete or suitable for any particular purpose. You use the tools at your own risk. We are not liable for any decisions made based on calculator outputs.

3.3 Availability

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any free tool at any time without prior notice or liability.

4.1 Packages and Pricing

SpeedCalcs offers custom calculator development for third-party websites at the following tiers:

•       Starter ($60) — A single functional calculator with basic styling.

•       Standard ($150) — A fully branded calculator matched to your site's design with an instruction document.

•       Premium ($400) — Up to four advanced calculators with complex logic, full site integration and lifetime support.

4.2 Order and Delivery

All orders are processed through Gumroad (speedcalcs.gumroad.com). Once payment is confirmed, we will reach out within 48 hours to begin the consultation process. Delivery timelines vary by package complexity and will be communicated at the start of each project.

4.3 Revisions and Support

Starter and Standard packages include 30 days of post-delivery revisions. The Premium package includes lifetime support as described on the service page. Revision requests must be submitted via email to albertomiller@speedcalcs.com within the applicable support window.

4.4 Refund Policy

Due to the custom and time-intensive nature of calculator development, all sales are final once work has commenced. If you request cancellation before work begins a full refund will be issued. 

If work has already started, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion based on the work completed. No refunds will be issued after the final deliverable has been delivered and accepted.

4.5 Intellectual Property — Custom Builds

Upon full payment the client receives a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the delivered calculator code on their website. SpeedCalcs retains the right to use similar logic, structures and components in future builds for other clients. 

The client may not resell or sublicense the delivered code without prior written consent from SpeedCalcs.

5.1 Subscription Terms

Rental plans are offered on a monthly subscription basis at the following rates:

•       1 Calculator — $15.99/month

•       3 Calculators — $39.99/month

•       5 Calculators — $69.99/month

Subscriptions are billed monthly and managed through Gumroad. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges.

5.2 Embed Code License

Upon an active subscription, SpeedCalcs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to embed the selected calculator(s) on a single website owned or operated by you. The embed code may not be sublicensed, resold, or shared with third parties.

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access to the embed code will remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which the calculator will stop functioning on your site. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.

5.4 Calculator Swaps

Active subscribers may swap their selected calculator(s) at any time by emailing albertomiller@speedcalcs.com with their requested change. Swaps are processed within 48 hours.

5.5 Calculator Updates

Rented calculators may be updated or improved by SpeedCalcs at any time. Updates that improve functionality are applied automatically. In the unlikely event a calculator is discontinued, we will notify active subscribers and offer an equivalent replacement.

SpeedCalcs offers a selection of free embeddable calculators for use on third-party websites. By using the free embed library, you agree to the following conditions:

•       You will not modify, reverse-engineer, or remove any SpeedCalcs branding or attribution from the embedded calculator.

•       You will not embed the free calculators on websites that contain illegal content, adult content, or content that promotes violence or discrimination.

•       SpeedCalcs reserves the right to revoke free embed access at any time for any reason.

Note: Free embeddable calculators may include Monetag display ads and Amazon affiliate product recommendations. These are disclosed within the embed.

7.1 Eligibility

The SpeedCalcs affiliate program is open to bloggers, newsletter operators, and content creators who promote SpeedCalcs services to their audience. Participation requires prior approval by contacting us through the contact form.

7.2 Commission

Approved affiliates earn a 35% commission on qualifying sales referred through their unique referral link. Commissions are paid after the refund window has passed.

7.3 Prohibited Promotion Methods

Affiliates may not use spam, misleading advertising, cookie stuffing, paid search ads bidding on SpeedCalcs branded terms, or any deceptive practices to generate referrals. Violation of these terms will result in immediate termination of the affiliate relationship and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.

7.4 Modification or Termination

SpeedCalcs reserves the right to modify commission rates, pause the program, or terminate individual affiliate relationships at any time with reasonable notice.

SpeedCalcs is monetized through the following methods, all of which are disclosed to users:

•       Display advertising — served via Monetag. Ads may appear on calculator pages and blog posts.

•       Amazon affiliate links — product recommendations on calculator pages may include Amazon affiliate links. SpeedCalcs earns a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you.

These disclosures are made in compliance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines and applicable advertising standards.

All content on SpeedCalcs including but not limited to calculator code, blog articles, graphics, design and branding is owned by Alberto Miller / SpeedCalcs or licensed for use on the site. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or create derivative works from any SpeedCalcs content without prior written permission.

SpeedCalcs' name, logo and branding may not be used in any way that implies endorsement or affiliation without written consent.

By using SpeedCalcs you agree not to:

•       Use any calculator output for purposes that are illegal, harmful, or fraudulent.

•       Attempt to scrape, crawl, or systematically download SpeedCalcs content or calculator outputs at scale.

•       Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy or reproduce any calculator tool without permission.

•       Interfere with the website's functionality, security or availability.

•       Submit false, misleading, or spam communications through any SpeedCalcs contact form.

SpeedCalcs uses the following third-party platforms as part of its operations:

•       Gumroad for payment processing and product delivery of custom builds and rental plans.

•       Blogger (Google) as the underlying hosting and content management platform.

•       Monetag for display advertising.

•       Amazon Associates for affiliate product recommendations.

SpeedCalcs is not responsible for the content, practices or privacy policies of any third party platforms. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms of service.

SpeedCalcs is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpeedCalcs disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SpeedCalcs and Alberto Miller shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall SpeedCalcs' total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount you paid to SpeedCalcs in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless SpeedCalcs and Alberto Miller from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms or your infringement of any third-party rights.

SpeedCalcs reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of SpeedCalcs after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes affecting paid services we will make reasonable efforts to notify active subscribers by email.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of SpeedCalcs shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation. SpeedCalcs operates primarily as an online service targeting English speaking users globally including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia.

Your use of SpeedCalcs is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at speedcalcs.com/p/privacy-policy.html. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
